Between 4th and 6th of October it will take place the 48th Congress of Acoustics: Tecniacústica 2017 in A Coruña.
Part of our dBcover R&D team will assist, on one hand as speakers who will talk about the latest developments in the field of acoustics, and on the other hand you can also find us in the Stand nº7 EXPOACÚSTICA’17, technical exhibition of acoustics products and services and vibrations, where we will announce our main news.
The TECNIACÚSTICA 2017 Congress, organized by the Spanish Society of Acoustics – SEA -, A Coruña University´s Technical Architecture School and the Portuguese Society of Acoustics -SPA, will present the most recent research progress in Acoustics.
In this important workshop of the sector, specialized in Acoustics, professionals will meet and discuss about insulation and acoustic conditioning issues, and other Buidling acoustics challenges. The most specialized sector professionals will share, in their presentations, the main advances and developments, and the companies will carry out demonstrations of their products and will show the most innovative advances in the scientific field both at technical and professional level.
Two of our acoustic engineers will make their speech about some of the projects that are carried out in dBcover.
Daniel Zahonero, engineer in telecommunications and acoustic, will give the lecture „Absorption of Metamaterials in Periodic Structure“ where he will talk about the importance of acoustic comfort in both public and private spaces. The need to find materials that help minimize reverberation and adjust sound absorption with efficient elements. He will present the development of the dBcomfort Scure our material able to optimize its performance adjusting to the needs of each acoustic project and to be compatible with any environment.
Manuel Taborga, Engineer in Sciences and Acoustic in dBcover Solutions, in his paper „3D Metamaterial for the isulation of the airborne sound“ will talk about the development of the dBsonic HM-3D, an acoustic improvement material, based on the insulation of the double walls in mass-spring system theory. This three-layer system of two different materials allows maximize performance in all three regions of sound insulation (resonance, mass and coincidence). Based on that, this unique acoustic membrane has been created is able to work as a sound blocker in a wide frequency range.
If you are interested in the new developments in the acoustic sector, and you want to know what it is been up to in the dBcover laboratories, do not hesitate to stop by our stand nº7. We will be happy to solve your doubts, to show our greatest products and recommend those ones that are the most suitable to your projects.
